MY REVIEW

The room

• big, nice and clean.
• comfortable and cosy bed.
  
• nice decoration - English style?
• quiet during the day, but quite noisy after sunset since there a LOT of night clubs under the hotel. (you can hear the live performance even when u close the door)
• the view - is the best. (facing the Johor Straits)
• big bathroom.

The hotel

• got a small gym and quite OK pool. (but the person in-charge of the pool is not friendly.hmm)
• the best attraction - under the hotel is the DUTY FREE centre of Southern Malaysia. (chocolates and smokers heaven)
• overall, great staffs and they are very helpful.
• breakfast buffet : wide range of menu. (satisfied)
• no complimentary drinks.

Singapore - part 2

MY PERSPECTIVE

• Frankly, Singaporeans are not friendly. For me, they are arrogant and do not shows respect to other people (especially to Malaysian).
• Their country is super 'clean' and the entire citizen seems to be very discipline people. Maybe this is because of their very strict law. (From what I heard from my van driver, if you are get caught littering in the city, you need to do charity work for a week!) And I think this way is very effective. That’s why their country is clean. I am very sad when I see people in Malaysia happily throwing away rubbish while they are driving.
• Traffic jam is a universal problem. Even in Singapore. But with their efficient road network and toll system, the problem is better than in Malaysia. (They do not use worker to collect toll, but use system like smart tag and every car must have it)
• Their public transport is superb! Their MRT is very comfortable, fast, and efficient and it covers the whole of Singapore.
• When you go to Singapore, UNIVERSAL STUDIO is a must place to visit and play. The experience is worth your every cent.
• CHANGI AIRPORT is a very lively place. It is also a very comfortable place to be.
• I wish I can go swimming at the Marina Bay Hotel pool one day!
